• Thank God that you can trust Him with your future.

• Thank God that His Word and Christ’s example teach us how to die to ourselves, though we confess we would rather not.

• Thank God for the joy which comes when our will is conformed to match His will.

• Ask God to help you set aside your own desires, comfort, opinions, expectations, and will, so you can actually know the joy of living for Christ.

• Ask God to help you to die to yourself so you can live for Him.
